Along with his work as a storyteller, Tom is an award-winning playwright. While serving as Artistic Director of The Children’s Theatre of Massachusetts, Tom penned the following scripts.
Each script takes about an hour to an hour and a half to perform and feature a core of main characters (seven - ten actors) with opportunities for lots of smaller parts, dance bits and walk-ons.
These plays were written to be performed by adults for children, although they have been attempted by younger ones with success. Professional theatres have performed these scripts across the US, Canada and some have even been translated for performances in Europe.

For the Holidays
Tom adores the story of Santa Claus and has created a series of Christmas plays featuring the Merry Olde Elf, Mrs. Clarissa Claus, a reindeer or two (Puppets) and a home full of young and rambunctious elves. The setting is Santa’s living room at the North Pole. Each script focuses on the challenges of the North Pole crew getting along as a “family” while trying to get the toys out on time. There are lots of laughs and many positive messages about giving, caring and sharing.

The OZ Cycle
